Points & Status does not know it and cannot recover it. Keep it separate from the backup file.
Encryption happens locally using Web Crypto, PBKDF2-SHA256 and AES-GCM. The file is never uploaded by this tool.
This site is local-first. A secure multi-device account system requires an authenticated cloud service. The workspace uses a versioned data format so future cloud sync can be added without changing the information you already save.
